Responsibilities

Primary responsibility is to assist with loading, driving concrete mixer trucks to job sites, and discharging loads in a variety of different settings and site conditions.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of truck and equipment, as well as perform daily pre-trip inspections.
  • Essential functions of this job are performed in both a shop environment and outside in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
  • Daily essential functions may require climbing ladders, stooping, crouching, standing, and occasionally crawling into confined spaces.

Qualifications

While having experience in concrete work is not necessary, we do prefer experience in a similar job.

  • Minimum Class B license required. Class A a plus.
  • Flexibility is essential! We are a 24/7 service provider.
  • Position may require varied working hours (early AM to late PM) and the ability to work overtime including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to climb into and out of equipment. Lift, carry, and push/pull heavy items and equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
  • Must possess strong work ethic and team player attitude.
  • All GFP Operators go through extensive training, must adhere to ALL safety policies, and are required to complete the following:
    • Background Checks
    • Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
    • OSHA 30-Hour Training
    • Silica Awareness for Construction Training
    • Volumetric Mixer Operator Certification
